Trimmings & Contrast Borders
From pom poms to piping, beads to braids – trim can be added to the edges of your roman or roller blinds to add that extra detail.
Trimmings and contrast borders are a great way to add touches to plain fabrics, to combine window treatments with soft furnishings and contrast with colour schemes.
Vertical blinds are different from standard blinds in that they open from side to side rather than up and down. They are a great privacy solution and also help to reduce glare.
Blackout blinds are produced usually as roller blinds, made of opaque or non-transparent fabric and sometimes lined. Used to block external light such as for sleep or office efficiency when using computer screens, blackout blinds also provide privacy and help to protect your room furnishing from harsh sunlight. They provide an element of thermal insulation too.
Useful in bedrooms and rooms to be kept dark they are popular for use in bedrooms, bathrooms, nurseries, and home offices. Available in a wide range of colours and patterns to suit your room décor.
Pleated blinds – also known as honeycomb or concertina blinds are one of the most versatile options. They can operate from the top of the window, or the bottom up, can be free hanging, tensioned on cords, attached to the glass and also be made in special shapes to suit an unusual window.
Most of our blinds are available now with the option of upgrading to motorisation. This would either be mains operated or battery. With battery packs clipping to the back of the blind headrail, these often only need to be recharged twice a year under normal use.
